Why the hierarchy "Product" -> "Batch" -> "Item"?

The hierarchy is based on the UNTP DPP standard. Item is a single instance of a product which belongs to a batch. All three entities can hold their own metadata. On chain, an item is an ERC-721 token (NFT), automatically supporting a huge swath of use cases and integrations.

What blockchains do you support?

Currently, we support Arbitrum Sepolia. Our aim is to support the most relevant EVM compatible chains soon.

What is a DPP?

Required by the EU’s ESPR (Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation), the Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a digital solution that collects and displays information about products' environmental impacts, raw materials, and safety. DPP data must be stored in a decentralized and immutable database, at least for the duration of the product’s lifecycle.
